Corporate Social Responsibility
As a manufacturer of pumps and pressure boosting systems, Duijvelaar finds itself in the middle of society. Initially, because pumps use power and, even on a global scale, are responsible for a substantial portion of our energy consumption. This is why we continuously invest in the development of more efficient pumps, with high Minimum Efficiency Index (MEI) values (EUR guidelines) and efficient motors.
ISO 26000 self declaration
But we believe our responsibility goes further. We want our actions to contribute to a better world. We set this out in 2010 in a self declaration according to the international ISO 26000 directive "Guidance on Social Responsibility". This brings all the information and declarations concerning, for example, ethical conduct, environmental pollution, child labour or conflict of interest concerning the economy and the environment. Specifically it translates into, for example, 100% recyclable pumps and production waste, minimal material and energy consumption in production, and clear instructions how we act in the event of unwanted situations.
